Through hands-on instruction and demonstrations in oil painting, artist Shima Rabiee will guide you through the essentials of color mixing, composition, and value.
Using photo references from the vibrant landscapes of Central Park, you’ll learn to capture the essence of a scene by simplifying forms and focusing on shapes and value. You’ll also choose your color palette to paint either an autumn or spring landscape to create your own unique work of art! Students will receive personalized feedback throughout the day, with group critiques and discussions to close each session. This workshop is open to all skill levels.
