About Our Studios
The Art Center is one of New York City’s most highly regarded teaching studios. With multiple ceramics, jewelry and art-making studios, it has been a home for artists of all levels from beginner to professional since the 1930s. Our Ceramics studios are equipped with 25 electric potters’ wheels, a gas reduction kiln and three electric kilns. Our Jewelry center is the largest and most esteemed program of its kind in the nation, and the oldest open studios in New York. Flexible Art center spaces allow for a range of activities from painting to printmaking to textiles and beyond. The studios are housed within The 92nd Street Y’s campus on Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street.

Their expert knowledge and passion for the arts enriches the tour experience, providing participants with invaluable insights into the art world.
92NY Art Center Takeover

Four-hour Art Center Takeover: From $6,800 plus $175 per participant
Elevate your team-building experience by taking over the Art Center for a four-hour event tailored exclusively for your group. We’ll create an immersive event that allows your team to engage in two activities of their choice, led by our expert faculty.
Participants will have the opportunity to display their work at the end of the event, creating a gallery-like atmosphere where they can walk around and appreciate what others have created over drinks and snacks. This interactive art walk encourages camaraderie, conversation, and a sense of achievement amongst your team.
Your group will have full reign of the studios, allowing you to select up to five specific workshops that best suit your team’s interests and objectives. Pricing includes options for coffee between activities, snacks, drinks and other refreshments, as well as add-on experiences on our Penthouse Roof.
