It Happened to Me—Why We All Need to Talk About Mental Health
Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers reminds himself every day that “everyone is going through something that we can’t see.”
After documenting his own experience with anxiety and depression in The Players’ Tribune, Love founded the Kevin Love Fund with the mission of inspiring people to live their healthiest lives while providing tools to achieve physical and mental wellbeing. “I want to normalize the conversation so we can talk about our daily battles more openly, and encourage people to actively pursue mental wellness with the same spirit as they pursue their physical wellbeing,” says Love. Join him as he talks with fellow mental health advocate Charlamagne Tha God who wrote about his struggles with anxiety and depression in his latest book Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me, for what’s sure to be an inspiring, intensely personal talk about his life and work on and off the court.
