Christina Tosi in Conversation with Laura Brown: Bake Club
James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi has raised the (Milk) bar on craveable sweets, with modern classics like her Cereal Milk soft serve, Compost Cookies, and naked-sided Birthday Cake. The New York Times bestselling author and host of Netflix’s Bake Squad joins us with LB Media’s Laura Brown to talk about her new book, Bake Club. Inspired by Tosi’s Instagram Live Bake Club community, the book is filled with its greatest hits, along with new creations destined to become the next favorite in your baking repertoire. Tosi talks with Brown about her unfussy but fabulous sweet and savory recipes for treats like Cinnamon Buns with Brown Sugar Goo, Homemade Pop Rocks, and Cheddar-Old Bay Popcorn, and about the community and connection that is the most essential ingredient in her work. Tosi started Bake Club because “baking brings people joy.” Join her and be inspired by her belief in the power of creating something yummy.
