Join U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy — along with Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Sara Bareilles and Celia Keenan-Bolger — for a conversation on caring for our mental health in a special live recording of Dr. Murthy’s podcast, House Calls with Dr. Vivek Murthy. Sara Bareilles has deliberately spotlighted her struggles with anxiety and depression — working to dismantle the stigma associated with the mental health struggles shared by millions of Americans. How can meditation help us cope with anxiety? Can a creative practice like songwriting help alleviate sadness? At a time when the nation is facing urgent needs around mental health, this gathering is a powerful reminder of how vulnerable and honest conversations can help us heal. Dr. Murthy, Bareilles and Keenan-Bolger discuss mental health stigma in America and share personal stories that help us remember that we are not alone.
