Building on the foundations from Calligraphy I, students will delve deeper into the art of beautiful writing.
You will work on a project centered around a short quote of your choosing, learning how to transform a simple idea from initial thumbnail sketches to a polished, finished composition. Explore new calligraphic styles like Blackletter and Copperplate and new techniques like the use of the dip pen, paper selection, and how to apply color, to expand your artistic repertoire. This course emphasizes practical skills and creative exploration, providing you with the tools to elevate your calligraphy to the next level.
