Teen Arts Week

Award Nomination Criteria:

  • Nominees must be NYC high school students who have made a demonstrated positive impact on their school, neighborhood, or NYC community through the arts.
  • Nominees should embody Teen Arts Week’s values of youth leadership, increasing access to the arts, and community building.
  • Nominees must reside in one of the five boroughs.
  • Nominees must be available to attend the awards ceremony and Teen Arts Week ramp-up event at The 92nd Street Y Wednesday, February 26 at 10:30 am.
  • Nominees must consent to the publication of their name, photo, and video.

How to Nominate:

  • All nominations must be submitted via this form by Friday, January 17.
  • Nominators should be sure to include detailed examples of nominee accomplishments and context for the nomination.
  • Self-nomination is accepted.
  • Multiple nominations are permitted.

Five teens, one from each borough, will receive the award and a monetary prize of $500. Final selections will be made on Thursday, February 6. Questions? Email or call 212.415.5576.
