ALEXANDER GEMIGNANI

Alexander Gemignani is an actor, musical director, arranger, orchestrator, composer/lyricist, educator and Artistic Director of the National Music Theatre Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. As a Music Supervisor/Music Director, Fiasco Theatre’s production of Merrily We Roll Along at the Roundabout (also penned new orchestrations). Supervised and conducted the 2020 Broadway revival of West Side Story and conducted Celebrating Sondheim with the NY Philharmonic for Live from Lincoln Center in 2019. Most recently: Music Supervisor/Arranger/Conductor for Sondheim’s final piece Here We Are at The Shed. Selected Broadway acting credits include Carousel (Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Nominations), Violet, Les Misérables (Drama League nomination), Sweeney Todd (Drama Desk nomination), Assassins (Theatre World Award). Selected Off-Broadway: Road Show at the Public (Drama League nomination). Favorite Regional: Hamilton (original Chicago cast) and Big Fish (Marriott Lincolnshire). His greatest joys are his beautiful daughter and his incredible wife, Erin Ortman.

Paul Rigano

Music Assistant

Paul Rigano is an award-winning composer, arranger, and music director. He has worked in the music departments of the recent Broadway revivals of West Side Story, The Music Man, and Funny Girl. As a composer, he is half of The Rigano Songbook with his brother and collaborator, David. Together they have penned the scores of over TWO musicals! Paul is a huge fan of 92NY and thrilled to be involved.

NORM LEWIS

Norm Lewis was recently seen onstage starring in the national tour of the Tony Award-winning production of A Soldier’s Play and in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End Concert of Love Never Dies. Mr Lewis last appeared on Broadway in the fall of 2021, starring in Chicken and Biscuits at the Circle in the Square Theatre. He received several award nominations for his performance as Porgy in the Broadway production of The Gershwins’ Porgy & Bess and in 2014 made history as the first Black “Phantom” in The Phantom of the Opera. He is an Emmy, Grammy, Tony and SAG Award nominee for his work onstage, screen, and in music. Mr Lewis is a proud, founding member of Black Theatre United.

KEIRA CHEN

Keira Chen (15) began her piano journey at age 6. In 2018, she won second place in the New York Steinway Junior Piano Competition (Division I) and was accepted to the highly selective 92NY Recanati-Kaplan Program to study with Tania Tachkova. Since then, she has won numerous international competitions including the First Prize at the 2022 International Clara Schumann Competition and Silver Prize at the Fourth WPTA Singapore International Piano Competition. She has performed at many prestigious concert halls and music festivals and attended masterclasses from several world-class pianists such as Alexander Kobrin, Maxim Lando, and Amy Yang. Keira is a ninth grader at Riverdale Country School. As a competitive junior tennis player, she plays No. 1 singles on the varsity team, is seeded No. 1 in NYSAIS, and is ranked top 35 in the Mid-Atlantic region by TennisRecruiting.net. She enjoys skiing, traveling, and storytelling.

ELIZABETH STANLEY

Elizabeth Stanley most recently received acclaim for her performance as Vera in New York City Center’s gala performance of Pal Joey. Broadway and National tour credits include Mary Jane in Jagged Little Pill (Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Nominations, Grammy Award Winner), Claire de Loone in On The Town (Drama Desk Nomination), Francesca in the Bridges of Madison County, Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet, Kira in Xanadu, Allison in Cry-Baby, and April in the 2007 Tony Award Winning revival of Company. Other favorite stage credits include Faye Apple in Anyone Can Whistle opposite Vanessa Williams and Santino Fontana with Master Voices at Carnegie Hall, Mother in Ragtime with the Boston Pops and Keith Lockhart, Gussie in Merrily We Roll Along with James Lapine for Encores!, and the Nurse in Hello Again with the Transport Group. On screen, Elizabeth was a recurring guest star on the FX series Kindred and Season 2 of HBO Max’s Gossip Girl. Other guest appearances include The Equalizer, New Amsterdam, Younger, Blue Bloods, N0S482, FBI, The Get Down, The Affair, Black Box, Made in Jersey, Fringe, and Company (PBS Great Performances).

ASMERET GHEBREMICHAEL

Asmeret Ghebremichael is an actress, singer, and director. She is currently Associate Director for The Notebook on Broadway. She has served as Artistic Director of the Big Sky Summer Theatre Festival and as an artistic consultant on the South Park: Pandemic Special (Comedy Central). On stage, her resume includes the original Broadway casts of The Book of Mormon and Elf, as well as Legally Blonde, Spamalot, Wicked, and Footloose. Off Broadway includes In The Heights (Drama Desk Award), and The New Group’s Sweet Charity (Lucille Lortel, Chita Rivera, and AUDELCO nominations), as well as the West End casts of Dreamgirls and The Book of Mormon. On camera, she recurred on WeCrashed (Apple), Get Even (Netflix) and appears in And Just Like That (HBO), The Blacklist (NBC), The Other Two (Comedy Central), Bonding (Netflix), and Trevor Moore: High in Church (Comedy Central).

CALEB TEICHER

dancer & choreographer

Caleb Teicher specializes in musically driven dance traditions and interdisciplinary collaboration. They’ve collaborated onstage and in the recording studio with celebrated artists including Regina Spektor, Ben Folds, AJR, Conrad Tao, Eyal Vilner Big Band, Veronica Swift, Jon Batiste & The National Symphony Orchestra, Spiderhorse, Nic Gareiss, and many others.

Caleb’s work has been commissioned and presented at many prestigious arts venues including Lincoln Center, The Joyce Theater, New York City Center, Works & Process at the Guggenheim, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. In 2024, Caleb will be presented in 16 cities across the United States through various projects: SW!NG OUT, an all-star swing dance & big band show; Bzzz, a comedic music-theater work for tap dancers and world-champion beatboxers; and Counterpoint, a concert duo with pianist/composer Conrad Tao.

Caleb’s current connection with the 92NY has personal significance: Upon moving to New York in 1961, Caleb’s father (Kenny Karen) lived at the 92NY.
