Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt: The State of Global Antisemitism

Jan 24, 2024

Join renowned Jewish studies historian and Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt for a special lecture on the state of contemporary antisemitism, followed by a conversation and moderated audience Q&A with 92NY's Rabbi David Ingber.

A renowned three-time Jewish Book Award-winning author and scholar, Lipstadt was confirmed by the US Senate as Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism in 2022, leading efforts to advance US foreign policy to counter antisemitism throughout the world. Since October 7, her work has taken on new urgency. At this critical juncture for US foreign policy in Israel working against an alarming rising tide of anti-Jewish sentiment all over the world, hear what she has learned about the state of antisemitism in the global halls of power — and find out how her path-breaking thinking on Holocaust denialism informs her perspective on contemporary antisemitism and its corrosive effects in America and beyond.
