Set the Page Free — Book Launch

Oct 27, 2017

With Jonathan Ames, Lee Child, Sloane Crosley, Joshua Ferris, Chip Kidd, Alain Mabanckou and Joyce Carol Oates

A shrink interviews a neurotic to be his next patient. A pickpocket arbitrates a sidewalk dispute between corporate bean-counters. A young man describes his initiation into the white-collar world of advertising. A veteran HR exec adjusts to moving back home. And a writing professor teases out the mystery of her new student. These are just some of the stories in a one-of-a-kind literary collaboration commissioned by the Poetry Center as part of Xerox’s Project: Set the Page Free. This event features contributors reading from their tales of the modern workplace upon publication of the new book.
