Sayed Kashua with Ruth Margalit

Feb 17, 2016

Sayed Kashua discusses his new book, Native: Dispatches from an Israeli-Palestinian Life, a selection of essays from his widely popular Haaretz column that explores, with intimacy, apprehension and satirical wit, the contradictions of modern Israel and the nuances of everyday family life.

Author of the award-winning novels Dancing Arabs and Second Person Singular, as well as the creator of the beloved sitcom "Arab Labor," Kashua is “a brilliant, funny, humane writer who effortlessly overturns any and all preconceptions about the Middle East,” wrote Gary Shteyngart.
