In the News with Jeff Greenfield: Lesley Stahl on Current Events and Her Life in Journalism

Apr 9, 2023

Lesley Stahl is one of the great “long distance runners” in American journalism.

From her days as a White House correspondent — the first woman to hold the post — to her 30+ years as 60 Minutes correspondent, Stahl has been an eyewitness to some of the most significant stories of our time. She has traveled the world, and interviewed leaders from Margaret Thatcher to Yasser Arafat to Donald Trump (who walked out of the interview in 2020 when her questions became too probing).

Come hear Stahl talk about her awe-inspiring career marked by political scoops and award-winning investigative journalism — a body of work that won her the Lifetime Achievement Emmy for overall excellence in reporting, as well as never-before-heard stories from the field, and a deep-dive into the most important issues facing our country today.

It’s a pleasure and an honor to welcome her back to 92NY, and we can’t wait to see you all there for this timely discussion!
