Jul 14, 2015

Mary Badham, who played Scout in the classic film of To Kill a Mockingbird, reads from both books and sits for an interview with Mary Murphy, director of the PBS documentary Harper Lee: American Masters. Written in the 1950s, the manuscript of Go Set a Watchman was long assumed to be lost. Its recent discovery has made headlines around the world. Featuring a grown-up Scout and exploring how the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird adjust to the turbulent events transforming mid-1950s America, Watchman casts a fascinating new light on Harper Lee’s enduring classic.
