Reshma Saujani is a leading activist and the founder of Girls Who Code and the Marshall Plan for Moms. She has spent more than a decade advocating for women’s and girls’ economic empowerment, working to close the gender gap in the tech sector, and, most recently, championing policies to support mothers impacted by the pandemic. Saujani is also the author of the international bestseller Brave, Not Perfect, and her influential TED talk, “Teach Girls Bravery, Not Perfection,” has more than five million views. She began her career as an attorney and Democratic organizer, and she now lives in New York City with her husband, Nihal; their sons, Shaan and Sai; and their bulldog, Stanley.

Liz is a filmmaker, award-winning journalist, author and the executive producer and host of several critically acclaimed digital series at Vox Media and NBC News. Her most recent critically acclaimed book For The Love of Men: a Vision for Mindful Masculinity was called  a “ tender, intelligent meditation on why now, more than ever, men deserve more” by Teen Vogue. She co-hosts the Man Enough podcast with Justin Baldoni and Jamey Heath where they interview influential figures about their journey to manhood. She’s also a columnist at MSNBC, launched a solutions-based journalism newsletter called Airplane Mode and is directing her first film about the future of disability rights in America. She sits on the board of Girl Up and started an initiative called Dream Job Club where she helps disabled people get matched with their dream jobs.
