This talk will focus on the challenges of introducing home health aides and companions into your home.
Topics to be covered will include deciding between a private hire or an agency, choosing an agency, overcoming possible resistance to having care, and how to choose a high-quality aide.
We will discuss ways to research and find good agencies, possible questions to ask when you interview aides as well as how to manage the interpersonal relationships between the agency, aides, and your family.
