As we stroll through the fall foliage, you’ll have the chance to appreciate three remarkable public artworks that pay tribute to Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, and Duke Ellington.
You’ll hear more about these works, the park and the artists behind them like Robert Graham, Alison Saar, and Gabriel Koren. Our excursion also includes a stop to the Dana Discovery Center, which features an exhibit on the park’s historic gateways.
Cathie will provide expert insights into the park’s evolution, along with fascinating background on the artists and the public artworks we’ll encounter. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore a hidden gem in the heart of New York City.
