92NY’s Spark Your Health is joined by Wellness Clinician, Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW for in-person community mindfulness group sessions to help you tap into your inner calmness, block out external noise that is not serving you, and breathe easier moving towards the new year.
This in-person/on-site group practice is designed to give you space to reflect on weekly themes, connect with yourself and others, and develop tools to bring mindfulness practices into your daily life. This program is appropriate for both beginner’s and those experienced with mindfulness. Brief education will be provided about the impact on stress on our mind and body, as well as mindful breathing and centering practice. Please note that these sessions take place on-site at 92NY.
Mindfulness is the practice of living in the present moment. It can help us accept and inhabit our lives. Let’s gather together and cultivate Mindfulness perspectives as we walk through life’s challenges, celebrations, and complexities. We will reflect upon a different theme each week in a group setting, followed by a brief mindfulness practice.

Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW, works at Cornell Medical School in New York City. She is a Clinician in the Student Mental Health program. She has expertise in providing Mindfulness and Wellbeing workshops to students, faculty, and staff at Universities.
