Students will practice freestyle skills and choreography through game-based exercises and exchanges. The class is designed to connect movement with music and history, to provide tools for creativity and individuality, and to serve as an introduction to street & club dance styles!

Arleigh Rothenberg is a Dancer and Choreographer for Stage, Video, and Commercial work, with experience in a multitude of dance styles. In 2020, she created her company Spring 36, which emphasizes Creativity. Growth. Opportunity. These are key components of Arleigh’s artistry, and what she hopes to inspire in her students and peers.

Arleigh has had the opportunity to perform at a variety of historical venues including the world famous Cotton Club and The Apollo Theatre. As a member of Dormeshia's Sophisticated Ladies, Arleigh performed weekly at The Cotton Club from 2010-2020. Arleigh was also featured in the PEOPLE x Prudential “Who’s Your Rock” Campaign, tap dancing, and speaking about her rock, tap-great, Derick K. Grant. Recently, Arleigh performed in work created by Franco Th3 Artist (Candyland, Times Square), Amandy Fernandez’s “Fight For It”, and Tweet Boogie’s Performance Project.
Arleigh is a graduate of Ithaca College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Television-Radio, with a concentration in Video Production.
