In this workshop for beginning singers, you will practice proper breathing, singing in tune, making a good sound, and how to work on a song. You will learn to do things you never thought possible. By the end of the class, you will feel confident enough to sing with and in front of others.

Elissa Weiss is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and singing teacher based in NYC. In 1998, Elissa created the Everybody Can Sing® voice studio and workshops to help people who are afraid to sing. She has run workshops for The 92nd Street Y, New York, Makor, the Rio Caliente Spa in Mexico, groups of Episcopal seminarians, and in various private settings. She has given hundreds of solo recitals and performances with the Salomone Trio (3 sopranos singing early music and Jewish music), and she has sung in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, as well as many churches, synagogues, and concert h ...
