Beaded Jewelry Independent Study (Intermediate/Advanced)

Complete those unfinished projects and design some new ones!

For students who have a basic knowledge of stringing techniques and seed beadwork, or with permission of the instructor.

*Students should contact the Instructor 1 week prior to 1st class with their proposed course of study.

*Students cannot be accepted after the first class without Instructor’s approval.

Prerequisite: Why Knot I & II and/or Intro to Beaded Jewelry I & II.

Marsha Davis

Marsha Davis is a professional jewelry instructor with over 20 years of experience teaching beaded jewelry — ranging from pearl knotting and stringing, to seed beadwork, to macramé, crochet, wirework and weaving. She has been on the faculty of The 92nd Street Y, New York’s Jewelry Center since 2000, teaching 4 classes weekly, and previously at The Craft Students League.
