Boca Tuya is thrilled to offer its first three-day workshop for intermediate-advanced contemporary dancers.
Led by choreographer Omar Román de Jesús and company members Ali Pfleger, Ian Spring, and Santiago Villarreal, the workshop will dive into improvisation, partnering, and Boca Tuya repertory.
This dynamic experience is designed to provide dancers with the tools needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced choreographic world. Partnering exercises will emphasize trust, vulnerability, intuition, and mutual respect, helping dancers build meaningful physical connections with one another.
Through guided exploration of Boca Tuya’s repertory, dancers will bring their individual artistry to the forefront, translating the company’s movement vocabulary in ways that feel authentic to them.
Our goal is to nurture not only the technical and creative growth of each dancer, but also the values of collaboration, empathy, and adaptability, qualities that make dancers essential members of any creative team.
