The fee for the trip includes the following:
- 1 night hotel in Rapid City, SD on May 18
- 3 nights’ accommodations with your own room (may have a shared bathroom) in a private home in Chadron, NE May 19-22
- Round trip transportation from Rapid City, SD to Chadron, NE (departing from Rapid City the morning of Thursday, May 19 and returning to Rapid City on Sunday, May 22)
- All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) Thursday through Saturday, May 19-21 and breakfast and lunch on Sunday, May 22
- Activities throughout the trip, including local tours, social events, community service, and facilitated conversations
- Coordination and logistics managed by 92Y’s Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact
The fee for the trip does not include:
- Airfare to Rapid City, SD
- Transfer from Rapid City Regional Airport to hotel in Rapid City on Wednesday, May 18
- Snacks or additional meals beyond breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Trip Insurance (highly recommended)
- Any local travel before or after the trip

92Y does not represent, nor is 92Y the agent for, any transportation carriers, hotels, caterers and other suppliers of services connected with Share Our America. All service providers for the trip are independent contractors whose businesses are independent of 92Y; the provision by them of services on the trip does not make them a partner or employee of, or create a joint venture with, 92Y. 92Y is therefore not responsible or liable for any injury, damage, loss, death, accident, delay or other irregularity during the trip caused by or a result of the actions or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service provider. Additionally, 92Y is not responsible for losses or expenses due to force majeure, including, without limitation, sickness, epidemic or pandemic (including but not limited to COVID-19), inclement weather, acts of God, strikes, wars, or other causes beyond the control of 92Y.
The published itinerary of the trip may be changed if such change(s) are deemed necessary for the health, safety, or general welfare of the members or the trip. 92Y recommends that each participant purchase medical insurance and insurance with respect to loss or damage of luggage and/or for recoupment of the cost of transportation to and from the program in the event of any unforeseen events that require a change by the trip planners or a change of your plan to participate. Baggage and personal effects are the individual trip members’ sole responsibility. 92Y reserves the right to decline participation of any person, and/or to remove any participant from the trip at any time, when such action is determined in the sole discretion of 92Y to be in the best interests of or necessary for the health, safety, or general welfare of the participants or of any individual participant. In the event of any changes of these terms or of the trip itinerary by 92Y, participant's sole compensation as damages shall be limited to the total program fee that participant paid for the trip.
Trip cancellation and baggage insurance is highly recommended. Above charges do not include cancellation charges imposed by the airlines for any connecting flights to/from your point of departure.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If 92Y were to cancel this trip before departure for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any payments already made directly to 92Y related to this trip.
If you cancel your participation for any reason other than contracting or being exposed to COVID-19, the following cancellation charges will be in effect.
