Guys and Dolls Jr | Performance Opportunities | Musical Theater | Gilda and Henry Block School of the Arts

We’re seeking performers ages 10-18 for 92NY Musical Theater’s production of Guys and Dolls Jr.

Rehearsals are once a week beginning September 14. Performances will be the weekend of January 20-22, 2023.

Students who are interested in large roles will have the opportunity to show off their singing, dancing, and acting skills. To audition, simply click on the role your performer is most interested in from the list below. Then download that character’s audition files and learn the materials. When your performer feels ready to show off their hard work, you can submit a video* of their audition to our Dropbox.

*Please note that we are not assessing the quality of the video — this should not be a fully produced or edited video. We are also aware that many students are dealing with significant space restrictions. Lastly, we prefer this video to be submitted without the aid of any outside professional coaching.

Casting will begin June 15 and we will cast on a rolling basis. We will continue to accept audition submissions until all roles are cast. We encourage students to audition as early as possible.

Submitting an audition does not guarantee a spot in the class. Students must register to secure their spot.

Principal roles:

*Principal roles require a lot of solo singing, line memorization, and at-home practice. Actors cast in a principal role must sign a Principal Role contract. You can preview the contract here.
