Tommy Wazelle has performed with opera companies and orchestras across the United States and around the world including Israeli Opera, Tulsa Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Nevada Opera, New York’s Center for Contemporary Opera, American Opera Projects, American Lyric Theatre, Houston’s Opera in the Heights, Union Avenue Opera of St. Louis, Tel Aviv’s International Vocal Arts Institute, the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Little Orchestra Society of New York, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, New York’s American Symphony Orchestra, The New York Symphony Society, Israeli Camery Orchestra, Israel’s Haifa Orchestra, New Jersey’s Westfield Symphony, Astoria Symphony and at Carnegie Hall. A member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Tommy has performed leading roles in plays and musical theatre, and has performed on National Public Radio and St. Louis Classic Radio. As a headlining artist on the Italian cruise ship Costa Atlantica, he developed shows featuring his diverse talents in Broadway, pop, jazz and opera. He also tours and sings in concerts with his wife in venues across North America. Also a trumpet player and composer, Tommy holds bachelors degrees in trumpet performance and music composition as well as a masters degree in voice from the University of Arkansas.
