Susan Homer lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design and MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Drawing and, in 2011, received a Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation Space Grant.
