Emilie Shapiro's work is inspired by natural elements and heavily driven by experimentation and process. She incorporates natural, rough gemstones celebrating beauty in imperfection. Her work is sold nationwide at places such as Anthropologie, Sundance Catalog and the American Museum of Natural History. Emilie received her B.F.A. in jewelry and metalsmithing from Syracuse University with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises.
She also studied at Alchimia, a contemporary school of jewelry in Florence, Italy. Before launching her own jewelry line, Emilie worked as the Production Manager at Pamela Love and Allforthemountain. Emilie is the author of How to Create Your Own Jewelry Line (2016) and Creative Wax Carving (2017).
