The 2020 Emmy Award nominees were announced this week. Whether or not you agree with who got the nod, the celebration of TV brilliance offers a welcome respite and distraction from the current news cycle. “We were honored to host a significant number of these talented people on our stage,” said 92Y Talks’ Taj Greenlee, who arranged many of the events. “Things are tough right now. But there’s so much brightness to be found in their powerful performances, compelling storytelling and passionate work.” We’re happy to share some of the archived talks with the nominees that took place at 92Y – perfect background viewing for those pre-Emmy debates.
