The Dover Quartet

Live in-person concert
The Dover Quartet

“Few young American ensembles are as exciting and accomplished as the Dover Quartet” raved the New Yorker: hear them in their 92Y debut!

The intrepid ensemble, the Quartet in Residence at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, has been hailed as “the next Guarneri Quartet” (Chicago Tribune) and “the young American string quartet of the moment,” (New Yorker). Join us as they perform works of Mozart, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Tania León, and more.

Works of Mozart, Tania León, and more

  • Mozart, Quartet in C Major, K. 465 “Dissonance”
  • Tania León, Cuarteto No. 2
  • Mendelssohn, Quartet No. 3 in D Major, Op. 44, No. 1

Corresponding Class: Concert Deep Dive: Jonathan Coopersmith on the Dover Quartet’s program of works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Tania León

Concert available for viewing online for 72 hours from time of broadcast.
