This second Midsummer MusicFest concert from soprano Sophia Hunt, clarinetist Sara Han, and pianist Ying Li features repertoire ranging from Classical jewels – including an aria by Mozart and Schubert’s beloved “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen” – to Villa-Lobos, in the gorgeous Aria from Bachinanas Brasileiras No. 5 sung by the fabulous Brazilian-American soprano Sophia Hunt, and more.
Gershwin’s jazzy Three Preludes beautifully sets up the concert’s finale, Ravel’s showstopping La valse.
