A visionary, Elsa Peretti changed the jewelry landscape when she joined Tiffany in 1974.

Elsa Peretti is famous for her sleek Tiffany creations and her high-profile life among the fashion luminaries in New York during the 1970s. Find out much more about the designer, who died last month at 80, in this far-reaching conversation celebrating her fascinating life and singular creative process. Jewelry journalist and historian, Marion Fasel who interviewed Peretti numerous times, joins Jewelry Center Director Jonathan Wahl to review the designer’s passion for craftsmanship as well as the quirky, personal and often surprising stories that inspired all of her iconic work.
