Here at 92NY we are lucky to have Peter Bardatsos, a 7th Dan Taekwondo Master, currently one of the top three taekwondo coaches in the country. Representing much of the greater northeast, his coaching experience dates to 1994. His road to success began as an 8-time consecutive National Team member and 8 time consecutive U.S. National Champion (1993-2000). He was an Olympic team member in the 2000 Games in Sydney Australia and an assistant Olympic coach at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He is also a “Hall of Fame” inductee in the United States Taekwondo Federation (2001) and currently coaches elite athletes for AAU, USTA and state sparring competitions. Master Bardatsos currently hosts a wide range of class levels from training athletes for local tri-state tournaments to an international level. He runs fitness classes for all ages, formal taekwondo classes and personalized training sessions. His unique and captivating ability to motivate and inspire young athletes combined with his personal integrity and broad spectrum of coaching and competition experience make him one of the best teachers in the industry.
