Join us at 92NY for an open gym style training session in our Penthouse featuring the practices of parkour and tricking.
The rising sport of Parkour is the physical and mental practice of getting from one place to another using quadrupedal movements, vaults, swings, understanding control of take offs and landings, and also quickly being able to adapt to obstacles and challenges of a terrain or course. For those unfamiliar with tricking, it is gymnastics tumbling, break dance, martial arts kicks, strikes and movements that can eventually be combined to form tricking combos
Our well-seasoned parkour and tricking coaches will be onsite to assist you if you are a little curious and new to the sport, or you just need that little bit of help leveling up to that move that eludes you. Coaches will lead a group warm up introducing basics fundamentals and conditioning challenges to get the body and mind open to training. Following warm up, coaches will be available to offer their expertise and train with you based on your skill level while setting up various challenges, conditioning drills, games, and sectioned floor space for trickers to train moves and combos. We hope this environment will foster the parkour and tricking community to grow together. Please keep in mind that this class is structured as an Open Gym. Coaches will be onsite and available to assist with equipment and safety.
