Learn the basic techniques of jewelry fabrication; sawing, forming, texturing, soldering, polishing and basic stone setting.
Three projects are covered; a band ring or cuff that is textured or pierced, a bezel setting for a cabochon stone that can be on a ring or pendant, a simple prong setting for a cabochon.

Borislav Goynatsky graduated from Moscow University of Chemical Technology majoring in engineering and minoring in industrial design. After 10 years of designing industrial equipment, decided to enter a field of jewelry. Goynatsky took classes at FIT and worked for jewelry houses like Stephen Dweck, Seaman Shepps, Deirdre Featherstone, Marilyn Cooperman, prior to starting his own company BG Art, Inc. Teaching experience includes FIT, Craft Student League, Studio Jewelers Ltd and his own workshop. Samples of his work can be seen on Instagram @Bgartjewelry
