Spend a day with 6 award-winning Graphic Novelists!
Each of these artists has been featured in the Jewish Comics Experience (JEWCE). Their works express stories of Jewish Identity, snapshots of Jewish history, retelling of texts and folktales, anthropomorphic ritual items and even a "dough-lem!"
Small group workshops with each artist will provide framework for students to create their own work and receive feedback from a published graphic novelist. Opportunities to hear from each artist about how they develop their stories, their artistic and writing methods, and the production process will also be included in the day. Participants will come home with their own copy of published works from each artist.
A kosher lunch will be provided for all registrants.
