While many think that chocolate and vanilla are opposite flavors, they often work together to produce excellent results.
The recipes in this class use chocolate and vanilla alone, together, or paired with other supporting flavors.
Full instructions for advance preparation are included with each recipe.
The first lesson jumps right into some astounding chocolate recipes: Triple chocolate Viennese Rigo Squares; a light raspberry version of one of Nick’s favorite cakes, Chocolate Eminence; Maida Heatter’s perennial favorite, Chocolate Regal; and a rich and delicate Chocolate Praliné Tart.
For the second session, vanilla takes center stage with Black Forest Crème Brulée, a multi-layered dessert in a glass; Intensely Vanilla Tart, with a mascarpone mousse filling; Vanilla Meringue Wedge with vanilla-scented raspberry filling; Sparkling Vanilla Sablées with crystal sugar; and Viennese Vanilla crescents.
This class will take place on June 7, and 14 from 6:30-8 pm ET. Sessions will take place live online with an opportunity to interact with the instructor and be recorded for later viewing by patrons.
