Is your child ready to elevate their love of music? Join the 92NY All-Star Rock Band!
In this exciting and fun class, students enhance their skills on guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and vocals. The supportive environment promotes both social and creative growth through ensemble playing. Students will apply their exceptional talent in a band setting, experiencing immediate progress with hands-on participation.
Does my child need to own an instrument? For those who do not have an instrument 92NY School of Music will provide instruments for in-class instruction. However, keeping the musical spark alive between classes with an at-home instrument is strongly recommended and advised.
How do students choose an instrument? During the first class, students will get to try each instrument and the teacher will carefully decide what instrument each student will play. However, after the first song is learned as a band, students can choose their next instrument.
Can students learn in a band setting? YES! We have found students achieving great results from this type of hands-on group instruction. As their basic skills develop, the teacher will customize their approach for each student to continually accel.
Does my child get to perform? Yes, at the conclusion of the semester, the Band will perform for friends and family.
