An introduction to machine sewing for absolute beginners, this class covers the basics: working with a machine, cutting, seaming, pressing. **Please see the supply list so you can arrive prepared on day one. We will start our first project- a tote bag, during the first class..
Focus is on skill building through making 2 basic projects: a Tote bag, and Elastic waist pants.

To the 3rd class, please bring the following materials:
FABRICS for elastic waist pants (Students may choose to wait to purchase this fabric until needed) :
- 2.5 - 3 Yards WOVEN Cotton. Can be quilting cotton, shirting, canvas, or linen.
- 1 - 2 Yards of Elastic, should be 1” wide
