Drawing on Enamel

Supply List:

Unleaded enamels are provided. A classroom set of sifters and watercolor enamels will be provided.

• 18 gauge copper discs, ovals, or squares (2”– 4”) and/or 18 gauge copper (6” x 6”) Alex will have copper blanks available for sale: $1 - $5 per piece depending on size.
• Your favorite graphite pencil. Plain BIC mechanical or regular #2 pencils will do.
• Kneaded or gum eraser
• Pencil sharpener
• 2-3 fine sable brushes (e.g. one each: # 0, #00; #000)
• 1 Flat ½” – 1” brush
• Exacto knife, fine-pointed scriber for sgraffito.
• 6” x 6” mica sheet, only from Thompson, Metalliferous, or Allcraft. A limited number of classroom mica sheets will be available.

USEFUL, but OPTIONAL:

• Mechanical pencil set and/or fine art drawing pencil set 6B - HB - 6H very optional
• Alundum Stone
• Sharpie
• Cheap Joyce Chen Scissors
• Roll of Bounty paper towels
