Creative Beadwork (Beginner/Intermediate)

Bring standard beading supplies with you to all classes, plus materials listed for 1st class.
**Beginners: Standard Beading Supplies for seed bead work
Beginner Project will be either basic peyote stitch or 3 bead netting, using 8/0 Japanese seed beads. Student may choose.
Please bring the following to the first class:
Cloth to work on: old pillow case works great
**#10 stiff English beading needles
**two colors of 8/0 Japanese seed beads (22 gram tubes -one for each color
( for peyote)
**one color of 8/0 Japanese seed beads (two 22 gram tubes ( for netting)
** small spool of 6lb Fireline thread
** bee's wax
Sharp cutter for thread - wire nippers
**Instructor will have these supplies in class for purchase (cash only, please)
For intermediate students, bring the following supplies in addition to you basic beading supplies:
several ideas, photographs, etc. for suggested projects they wish to pursue in future classes. Please bring copies to give to the instructor, these will be returned to you.
Please contact the instructor a week before class begins for additional materials needed for the first class.
Students may also contact instructor prior to class with project requests.
