Clean up for Wax Castings

Supply List:

• Three flat emery sticks (called emery hand buff at Gesswein)
• 3m silicon carbide emery paper (#220, #320, #400)
• Three split mandrels for flex shaft (straight, not tapered)
• 1/2” wide Scotch masking tape (#234 is best)
• Three reinforced screw mandrels (1/16”screw, 3/32”shank, stainless steel is best)
• 3m Scotch-Brite green scouring pad
• One barrette needle file (#0, 7-7/8” length, Glardon Vallorbe is best)

* Felt buffs, rubber wheels and additional supplies will be available for sale in class. Please bring more than one casting to be cleaned.
