- Assorted materials for artists book interiors

- Old collages you would like to make into artist’s books
- Photo copies of photos or found imagery you would like to incorporate into artist’s books
- Any stiff matboard surface for harder covers
- Specialty papers like Japanese papers you would like to use on decorative covers
- 9" x 12" or 11" x 14" Bristol Board Pad (bring a few sheets per class, depending on the type and size of book
Adhesives
- Glue Stick (permanent is better than washable)
- Lineco PVA Glue 8 oz.
- Artists Tape
Cutting
- X-acto type knife with a supply of blades
- Cutting mat (12” x 18”)*
- 1 pair of good scissors
- 12” or 18”metal ruler with cork or rubber backing
Folding and Assembling
- Bookbinder’s Awl
- Bookbinder’s Needle
- Linen Thread
- Bone Folder
Drawing
- HB Pencil for marking
- White or kneaded eraser
Painting
- Black sumi or india ink or Higgins Ink - small bottles
- Watercolor / Gouache and Acrylic Paints
Brushes
- A soft rubber brayer (3”)
- Small foam brushes, 1" - 2"
- Inexpensive bristle or synthetic brush, 1” and 2” for glue and painting
- Watercolor Paint Brushes
