What's Next for Israel? Ari Shavit, Peter Beinart, Abe Foxman and Dan Senor
Following Israel's recent elections, 92Y and Ari Shavit bring together leading thinkers representing a spectrum of views. Included on the panel are Ari Shavit, Israeli columnist and author of the highly acclaimed New York Times bestseller My Promised Land: The Triumph and Tragedy of Israel; Peter Beinart, Associate Professor of Journalism and Political Science at the City University of New York and author of The Crisis of Zionism; Abraham H. Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and known throughout the world as a leader in the fight against anti-Semitism and prejudice; and Dan Senor, an investor, founder of the Foreign Policy initiative, co-author of The New York Times bestseller Start-Up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle, and was senior advisor to Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Moderator Ariela Dubler is the Head of School at the Abraham Joshua Heschel School.
