Music Icons: Steve Miller in Conversation with Anthony DeCurtis

Oct 1, 2023

Steve Miller has been a dynamic force ever since his emergence from the vital San Francisco music scene of the 1960s. Classic songs like “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Take the Money and Run” and “Abracadabra” have dominated streaming sites and the airwaves for decades. Indeed, Miller’s greatest hits collection is among the best-selling albums of all time, and those songs have earned him entry into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In addition, Miller has just announced an expansive collection celebrating the 50th anniversary of his breakthrough 1973 album, The Joker, due out September 15, 2023. In conversation with Rolling Stone contributing editor Anthony DeCurtis, Miller will discuss his storied career and perform some of his indelible songs.
