Soleil Moon Frye is a multi-talented actor, director, and writer that has etched her way in the industry in both television and film.

Frye began her career as a childhood actor where she starred as Penelope “Punky” Brewster in the 1984 NBC sitcom, Punky Brewster. The show ran for four seasons where it snatched three Primetime Emmy® nominations including two for Outstanding Children’s Program. Additionally, Frye won a Young Artist Award in the category of, Best Young Actress Starring in a Television Series. She also voiced Punky Brewster in Its Punky Brewster, an animated spinoff series that ran for two seasons and earned a Daytime Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Animated Program.

Frye recently reprised her role as the iconic character, Punky Brewster in the multi-camera/hybrid reboot of the same name, Punky Brewster. The reboot, shows present day Punky who is now a single mother raising three kids. Punky’s best friend Cherie, portrayed by Cherie Johnson, will return as her character, and Freddie Prinze Jr. will play Punky’s ex-husband. The 10-episode series is now available on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service. Additionally, Frye will rejoin the cast of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder — as the beloved animated Disney Channel series is currently in production and will stream on Disney+.

Next up, Frye will be seen in her original documentary, Kid 90 that is composed of hundreds of hours of real footage of her life as a teenager in the 90s. Kid 90 serves as a blueprint of Frye’s life, featuring home videos, voicemails, audio recordings, and diary entries she has preserved. The documentary features new interviews with lifelong friends David Arquette, Balt Getty, Brian Austin Green, Stephen Dorffand Mark-Paul Gosselaar, among others, and includes never-before-seen footage of Harold Hunter, Justin Pierce, Danny Boy O’Connor, Jenny Lewis, and Jonathan Brandis. Frye also produced Kid 90 alongside STX Entertainment with Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions' Jennifer Davisson and Phillip Watson serving as executive producers. Hulu set to release the film on March 12 while STX international retains international distribution rights.

On the philanthropic side, Frye serves as an Angel for Baby2Baby, a charitable endeavor providing children in poverty with diapers, clothing and basic necessities. Additionally, Frye serves as a board member for CORE, an organization dedicated to saving lives and strengthening communities impacted by or vulnerable to crisis. CORE has spearheaded relief efforts in Haiti, the Bahamas and is currently operating free COVID-19 testing sites across the US.

In 2011, Frye made headway by releasing her first book called, Happy Chaos: From Punky to Parenting and My Perfectly Imperfect Adventures in Between. Frye created this book to invite people into her world and make them revel in the chaos of their own lives too. In 2013, Frye release her second book called, Let's Get This Party Started: DIY Celebrations for You and Your Kids to Create Together which is a guide to more than 15 parties to throw for kids that are inexpensive, inventive, and fun.

Previously on television, Frye guest starred on several television series including The Wonder Years, Saved by the Bell, and Friends. In 2000, she joined the cast in the WB sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch as Roxie King, Sabrina Spellman’s roommate and close friend. Frye has also done some voiceover work on Tiny Toon Adventures and The Cartoon Show, The Proud Family, Bratz, Planet Sheen, and Robot Chicken.

Frye’s film credits include The Liars’ Club a drama thriller directed Jeffrey Peter, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings which is a sequel to the 1994 Pumpkinhead, The St. Tammany Miracle starring alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Jamie Luner, and Motel Blue directed by Sam Firstenberg.

Additionally, Frye wrote, directed, and starred in Wild Horses alongside Scott Caan, James Duval, and Danny Matterson which is about a group of teenagers that mistakenly believe they only have 24 hours to live and decide to live life to the fullest. Frye then directed her second film, Sonny Boy which is a documentary that chronicles a two-week trip Frye took with her father, Virgil, who had Alzheimer’s disease. Sonny Boy was an official selection at the 27th Starz Denver International Film Festival and won Best Documentary at the San Diego Film Festival.

Frye currently resides in Los Angeles.

Demi Moore has proven herself to be one of the industry’s most accomplished performers, lending her talents to an array of revered films and television both in front of and behind the camera.

Most recently, the actress lent her voice to QCode’s podcast Dirty Diana, which Amazon has picked up to adapt into a series that Moore will executive produce and star in. On screen, she was recently seen in NBCUniversal’s Brave New World, a TV adaptation based on Aldous Huxley's famous book set in a dystopian future. The series premiered on Peacock in July 2020. Prior to that, Moore starred in Patrick Brice’s Corporate Animals opposite Ed Helms, Sony’s Rough Night, starring Scarlett Johansson and Kate McKinnon, and Michael Mailer’s Blind, with Alec Baldwin.

In the late 1980’s, Moore’s acting career took off when she starred in St. Elmo’s Fire. She then went on to star in such iconic films as A Few Good Men, Ghost, Indecent Proposal, Disclosure, and G.I. Jane. On the small screen, she earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role as a single woman seeking a back-alley abortion in the 1950s-set miniseries If These Walls Could Talk. The miniseries, which she also produced, received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Made for Television Movie.

Moore has also starred in such films as Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Bobby, Flawless Happy Tears, and The Joneses. She then gave what New York Magazine called “the performance of her life” in the 2011 financial thriller, Margin Call, which received the Robert Altman Independent Spirit Award for Best Ensemble Cast. After appearing in Another Happy Day opposite Ellen Barkin, Moore directed the acclaimed Lifetime original movie Five, an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives. The film landed her a Director’s Guild Nomination.

Last year, Moore added New York Times bestseller to her list of credits with her memoir Inside Out, released on September 24, 2019 by HarperCollins. In this emotionally charged memoir, she opens up about her career and personal life — laying bare her defining tumultuous relationship with her mother, her marriages, her struggles balancing stardom with motherhood, and her journey toward open-heartedness.
