Join the 92Y Art Center for a talk with renowned artist Shantell Martin in conversation with Ilana Glazer, Series Creator, Executive Producer and star of Comedy Central’s critically-acclaimed hit show, Broad City.

Shantell will discuss her current residency and exhibition Why Now. and give you a glimpse into her process. Martin’s work is a meditation of lines; a language of character, creatures, and messages that invites viewers to share a role in the creative process. With her characteristic black-and-white, 3D, spontaneous freestyle compositions, Shantell Martin breaks down the wall between creator and community.
