Time Warner's Cable New York Region and Ovation are proud to support 92nd Street Y's Poetry Center Schools Project, an educational program that reaches out to 1,500 public high-school students annually.

92Y's Poetry Center Schools Project combines in-class creative writing workshops with the opportunity for students to meet leading contemporary writers and hear them read live in 92Y's concert hallall free-of charge to students and schools.

The generous support of Time Warner Cable and Ovation inspires the imaginations of New York City students who would not otherwise enjoy such opportunities. Authors participating in the 10/11 Schools Project include Rosanne Cash, Salman Rushdie, Ian Frazier, Maxine Hong Kingston, Tony Kushner and Victor LaValle.

This partnership will provide the opportunity for you to experience the Poetry Center Schools Project firsthand through a series of short documentary videos that will be free to Time Warner Cable customers on Channel 1111 using On Demand.
