Richard Russo is the author of eleven books, including Empire Falls, which won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 2001. His 1994 novel, Nobody’s Fool, was made into a film starring Paul Newman by Robert Benton; in 2016, Russo released the long-awaited sequel, Everybody’s Fool. His books — including his new collection of short stories, Trajectory — are hailed both for their glorious wit as well as their fundamental kindness and humanity. This program features a conversation between Russo and his friend of twenty-five years, Jennifer Finney Boylan (Long Black Veil), and will focus on relationships and friendships between men and women, parents and children, and authors and their creations.
