Richard Parker: What You’ve Heard About Greece Is Not True
You've probably come across reports that the Greeks are feckless tax evaders who largely brought their economic crisis on themselves. But Richard Parker, a lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School who's also a former economic advisor to Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, says that's not the case. He reminds us we need to avoid "easy answers" that suggest moral failings cause a country's financial and economic woes.
