Richard Haass and Arianna Huffington Delve Into Drone Warfare
President of the Council on Foreign Relations Richard Haass spoke with president and editor-in-chief of Huffington Post Media Group Arianna Huffington on June 5, 2013 about his new book, Foreign Policy Begins At Home. In this part of their conversation, the two discussed the increasing role of drones as a tool for national security. Haass conceded they are probably being used to much:
My hunch is the administration used drones too frequently, and I think now is correctly dialing it back.
