Orpheus Chamber Orchestra was joined by revered cellist Mischa Maisky in his only NYC appearance of 2017.

Mischa is a true citizen of the world: “I play an Italian cello with French bows, and Austrian and German strings… I drive a Japanese car, wear a Swiss watch, an Indian necklace, and I feel at home everywhere people love and appreciate classical music.” Hear this extraordinary artist, for whom expression is paramount in music-making, in a poignant Schubert masterpiece.
